Waterfall Hike
We were told the hike out to the waterfall was going to be really hard and that some people have not made it in years past. When we got out there, it was very muddy and slippery but the hike itself was not as hard as they made it seem. Once we got to the waterfall, most of us decided to go down to the bottom rather than stay up at the top. The guides had to tie ropes to trees so we had something to hold onto while climbing down the side of the waterfall. A few of us slipped on the way down but the water at the bottom was much deeper than at the top, so we were glad we went to the bottom. Then, while we were swimming, one of the boys grabbed a vine that was hanging down in the water and tried to climb it, but ended up just pulling a big tree branch off the tree and onto everyone in the water. After we swam for a while longer, we got out and hiked back out to be picked up and taken back for lunch.
