After going into anaphylactic shock on Sunday, this morning was the first time I didn't feel like voiding my insides via esophagus, so off to a great start!   After having a great breakfast the consisted of the usual food with the notable introduction of sausages, the whole group went strait to the tractor where we boarded a trailer that took us to our adventure spot of the day.  We dismounted from the tractor, met our guide Joseph from Zambia, and started off our short hike to the waterfall.  While the hike was short, difficult is a great way to describe it.  Lots of mud, near 90 degree verticality, and little to no traction of any surface made the hike extremely exciting.  Once we made it to the waterfall, shoes were discarded and the group went in.  I found the water quite cold, and this is coming from someone who has 10+ years of experience in competitive swimming.  after a few good pictures and events, we left the waterfall and went back up on the hike with no issues.  after arriving back at Finca la Anita, the group washed off, ate lunch and got right back to scientific work.  My group got caught up on the lab journal, dealt with limes and ancient technology, and finished up our previous experiments.  After a very strong, delightful smelling session, most of the students went on break until the rain lifted for field research due to its effects on Atta cephalotes colonies.
