So far, my time in Costa Rica has been nothing less than what I hoped. One of the surreal things I keep experiencing is just being out and realizing once again where I am and how beautiful and exotic every thing is. I love how welcoming the people of Finca La Anita and Colonga Libertad are. Riding on the tractor and waving to all the people was awesome and made are presence appreciated. I've also enjoyed the research we have had the chance to do. My group is mainly focusing on the behavioral habits of the leafcutter ants. Never did I think I would watch ants fight and never did I think it would be so cool. I really do appreciate the chance I have been given to see all these exotic and rare things I would have never seen without this trip. One thing that I have really just enjoyed is the lifestyle of the people. The houses, cars, foods, traditions, its all very interesting because of how different it is from ours. I didn't think it would be the most interesting part but something about it captivated me. Another thing from the very long list of things I have enjoyed is my classmates, I have gotten to meet everybody and really appreciate getting to meet them all. Another cool part is the nature scenery. On the walks and hikes we have done so far I really enjoyed it all. Never really thought I would be walking in the rainforest but I'm glad I am. I really do appreciate all the people that have made this very great experience possible.

Costa Rica has been a very exciting, funny, and adventurous trip. I am very glad that I have came on this trip and experience the amazing activities, events and experiments. The thing I find the most important from this trip so far is the bonds that have been created through out the this adventure. I have met new people and even got closer with my friends and teachers. Trinity is know for the brotherhood that is created through out school, and I believe that trips like these makes this brotherhood stronger. At school you don't get to talk or act like you do outside of school, so this experience made us get closer and we all bonded closer than we ever would've. I also got to know my teacher, well every teacher. As I am typing, I am still learning about the teachers. We can all be ourselves and make jokes or just plain out say "Did you see that amazing attractive women walk out of the house" (teacher). This is why bonds are important, they make trips very interesting and funny. Over all I am glad that I have came on this trip due to that I made friends from all the schools: Trinity, Mercy, and Lexington Catholic.
